10월 26일부터 28일까지 수원컨벤션센터에서 개최된 MSK2025 International Meeting of the Microbiological Society of Korea에 교수님을 비롯한 연구원들이 참석하여 연구내용을 발표하고 타연구자들과 교류하는 시간을 가졌다.

전체옥 교수님은 Amino Acid-Metabolizing Microbes in the Human Gut: Hidden Drivers of Health and Disease를 주제로 구두발표를 진행하여 참가자들의 관심을 받았고, 백주혜 연구원은 Isolation and characterization of Staphylococcus strains from traditional Korean fermented soybean foods: genomic and metabolic features and safety assessment, 이재경 연구원은 Investigation of Key Microbes Responsible for Metabolizing Aromatic Amino Acids in the Human Gut and Their Correlations with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, 최서희 연구원은  Diversity and Functional Characterization of Steroid Hormone-Converting Enzymes in the Human Gut Microbiota를 주제로 포스터 발표를 진행하여 장내미생물과 관련된 연구내용을 발표하였다. 

김정민 연구원은 Metagenomic Analysis Reveals the Metabolic Dynamics of the Phycosphere Microbial Community in the Red Alga Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis, 최병준 연구원은 Elucidation of Metabolic Interactions between Marine Red Algae and the Growth-Promoting Novel Bacterium Blastopirellula strain J2-11T, Hülya Bayburt 연구원은  Analysis of Metabolic Pathway Diversity between Marine Red Algae and Algae-associated Bacteria, 원희성 연구원은  Flagellimonas ulvae sp. nov. and Flagellimonas rhodophyticola sp. nov., isolated from marine algae를 주제로 해양홍조류에 관련된 연구내용을 발표하였다. 

또한 한동민 연구원은 Investigating angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibiting peptides in fermented soybeans using different microbial starters, 최대규 연구원은  Microbiota-Dependent Enhancement of Influenza Vaccine Responses by Bacillus velezensis KD1 Isolated from doenjang, a Traditional Korean Fermented Soybean Paste, 이대승 연구원은 Fermentative features of ganjang produced using doenjang-meju inoculated with different microbial starter를 주제로 발효식품관관련 연구내용을 발표하였고 문채영 연구원은 Mucilaginibacter aureus sp. nov. and Mucilaginibacter sediminis sp. nov., isolated from wetland soil를 주제로 포스터 발표를 진행하였다. 연구실의 모든 연구원이 참여하여 발표하는 기회를 가졌으며 최병준 연구원은 BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS를 수상하여 축하를 받았다.
